Heather is currently on maternity leave. Heather and Ali are very much still part of the Church however, so you are likely to bump into Heather at the back of Church or having a cup of tea!
Sue Strutt
Church Administrator & Safeguarding Lead
Sue is a long-standing member of St Francis and is heavily involved in the life of the church. Alongside being our Church Warden and Safeguarding Lead, she is one of the leads of the Top-Up Shop group.
Sue loves spending time with her grandchildren and relaxing in her beach hut at Felixstowe.
David Cutts
Associate Minister
David is a retied priest who has spent the whole of his ordained ministry here in Suffolk from 1980 onwards. Most recently he was Vicar of St Margaret’s Church here in Ipswich having served there for nearly 28 years. In retirement he lives within walking distance of St Francis and as well as being a keen walker (fortunately) his hobbies include sport, railways, gardening and reading. David is ready to support Heather and the rest of the team in whatever ways are helpful whilst continuing to enjoy an easier paced life!
Sandy Wheeler
Church Warden
Hi. I am one of the church wardens at St Francis Church. This is a new role for myself, so I am still finding my feet and learning as I go along with the support and help from the rest of the team here at St Francis. I am a qualified Dental Nurse and work full time within the military sector. My evenings are spent trying to keep fit and healthy at the gym, alongside walking and keeping myself busy in the garden

Hi, I'm Katie. I have been attending churches for over 15 years with my husband and 2 children. Over the years I have done different roles within the Church. I have a few years of experience in the role of church warden and I'm happy to be taking on the role again and working with Heather and Sandy.
